The 3rd annual Ark of Taste Dinner supports the work of Louisville Community Grocery and the Slow Food Bluegrass Garden Grant. Four course meal, chance to win a cooking class dinner for 10 by Executive Chef Patrick Roney at the Monogram Experience Center (a $1,000 value!), beer flights by TEN20 Craft Brewery and unlimited wine!
Slow Food Bluegrass's annual fundraising dinner, Ark of Taste, is a celebration in preserving foods that face extinction.
At the beautiful MOZZAPI Restaurant, Chef Patrick Roney, Chef Paco Garcia of FOKO, Chef James Bridges of The Grainwright and MOZZAPI will prepare a four-course meal in concert with sustainable products and paired with natural wines and locally produced beer thanks to TEN20 Craft Brewery.
Also, Joseph Bowens & Tiffany Brown, Executive Directors of Louisville Community Grocery will share their good work of creating a grocery store that is accessible to all, inclusive and affordable — a cooperatively owned and operated business serving the West End and Old Louisville neighborhoods.
20% of the proceeds from the dinner will support Louisville Community Grocery with the remainder going directly to Slow Food Bluegrass 2023 garden grant recipients.
As an organization that promotes good, clean, and fair food for all, Slow Food Bluegrass supports our local food system through garden grants and partnerships to help individuals and organizations practice sustainable gardening and farming techniques.
